Content Engine Overview

1. Purpose

The Content Engine (System 05) is the single source of truth for all business knowledge. It is not just a marketing tool; it is the operational backbone that feeds Marketing, Sales, Fulfillment, and Support.

Core Philosophy: "Create Once, Distribute Everywhere" (CODE). We do not create ad-hoc content. We create structured knowledge assets that are assembled into various formats.

2. The Core Concept: Atomic Knowledge Units (AKUs)

Instead of writing a "blog post" or a "course module," we write AKUs. An AKU is a self-contained concept (e.g., "How to handle objection X" or "The 3 steps to process Y").

  • Input: Subject Matter Expertise (SME) extraction.
  • Storage: Central Knowledge Base (MS Loop/Notion).
  • Outputs:
    • Marketing: Blog posts, Social snippets.
    • Sales: One-pagers, Proposal clauses.
    • Product: Course lessons, VOD scripts.
    • Support: KB Articles, Canned Responses.

3. Tech Stack

  • MS Loop (or Notion): The database for AKUs. The "Writer's Room."
  • HubSpot Knowledge Base: The public/private face for System 09 (Support).
  • Loom/Vimeo: Video hosting for AKUs.
  • Canva: Visual template library.

4. Key Workflows

  1. Ingestion: Converting raw ideas/legacy PPTs into AKUs.
  2. Normalization: Tagging and formatting for retrieval.
  3. Assembly: Combining AKUs into products (Courses, Presentations).
  4. Maintenance: Quarterly audits to ensure truth.

5. Success Metrics

  • Reuse Ratio: Avg number of formats per AKU (Target: >3).
  • Time-to-Publish: Speed from Idea to Live.
  • KB Coverage: % of Support Tickets resolved with existing AKUs.
