1. The Structure of an AKU (Atomic Knowledge Unit)

Every AKU must follow this strict schema to be machine-readable and human-useful.

Metadata Header

  • ID: AKU-001 (Unique Identifier)
  • Title: Clear, search-friendly name.
  • Owner: SME responsible for accuracy.
  • Status: Draft | Review | Live | Deprecated.
  • Last Updated: YYYY-MM-DD.
  • Tags: (See Section 2).

Body Content (The "Source Code")

  1. The Concept (100 words): High-level summary (For Social/Emails).
  2. The Details (500+ words): Step-by-step instructions (For Blogs/Docs).
  3. The Script (Spoken): Conversational version (For Video/Podcast).
  4. The Visuals: Links to diagrams/screenshots.
  5. Key Takeaways: 3 bullet points.

3. Naming Conventions

  • Files: YYYY-MM-DD_Category_Title_vX.md
